I created Judy Rose Custom Writing & Writing Repair Services because I can help people. I make their jobs easier and free them to do what they do best. I take the struggle out of writing.

When people ask me how long I’ve been a writer, I tell them there are two answers: (1) for a few years, and (2) all my life. I don't have the typical writer’s background. I didn’t major in English, journalism, communications, marketing, or any of the other subjects that attract aspiring writers during their college years. On the contrary, I majored in Music and thought about becoming a classical singer. I changed my mind.

Yet I always wrote. From the third grade journal called Daily Report, which, looking back, was the 1950s equivalent of a blog; to the ads, pamphlets, teaching-kit stories, and newsletters I wrote as a volunteer for the Elsa Wild Animal Appeal and the Fund for Animals; to the articles and brochures I wrote for my employers; to the funny poems I wrote for my family and friends, I always wrote. And I always got great reviews. I started getting more “reviews” when I created my blog Writing English. Comments came in from all over the world telling me how my articles inspired, taught, clarified, and entertained my readers. It was evidence of something I already knew—I can reach people. 

Writing is just something I love to do. I might have been content to leave it as a hobby, but during the years I worked for large international firms, I was often asked to help colleagues when they had to write something important in English. Writing workshops and classes only took them so far. In the end, their writing was still not up to high business standards. I recognized there was an unfilled need and that I had a solution. So I decided to combine my creative writing ability with my writing support experience to offer a variety of writing services.
